INSTRUCTOR | ÓSCAR SANTAMARÍA – Widely regarded as one of the most respected Assistant Directors in the Canary Islands, with extensive national and international experience and a solid teaching background. He worked on his first feature film as a trainee Assistant Director in 2010, after which he continued to build a career across all areas of the Assistant Directing Department. His credits include major international productions such as Solo: A Star Wars Story (Ron Howard, 2018) and Asteroid City (Wes Anderson, 2022), Spanish productions including Gernika (Koldo Serra, 2016) and Palmeras en la Nieve (Fernando González Molina, 2015), as well as acclaimed auteur films such as La Viajante (Miguel Mejías, 2019), Blanco en Blanco (Theo Court, 2019) and Rendir los Machos (David Pantaleón, 2021).
