Fuerteventura Film Commission is currently running a specialised course in 2D and 3D animation techniques for television series, film and video game production.
This educational programme, which began this week, will run for six months and is designed to support the growth of the audiovisual industry on the island. Aimed at students with previous experience in animation, it offers participants the opportunity to further develop and refine their skills in this field.
Delivered in person by renowned animator and illustrator Tenesor Cruz, the course is structured around five modules that explore the use of 2D and 3D animation tools within the audiovisual sector. The programme will also feature guest presentations from leading industry professionals, including Miguel Miranda, Alby Ojeda, Miguel Delgado and Guillermo Rancel, who will contribute at different stages throughout the course.

Nereida Calero, Councillor responsible for the Fuerteventura Film Commission, explains that the main objective is for students to discover and develop their skills, culminating in the creation of a final project: a demo reel that will enable them to showcase their abilities to interested companies with which they will have direct contact.
Calero highlights the importance of continuing to promote training opportunities through the Fuerteventura Film Commission in order to open up new employment opportunities in expanding market sectors and to further develop professional profiles that are in high demand both nationally and internationally.
This initiative represents the second free training programme organised by the Fuerteventura Film Commission in the field of animation, with the firm aim of creating new employment opportunities in growing market sectors.
