Fuerteventura Film Commission is offering a new course as part of its programme of workshops aimed at professionals and individuals interested in entering the audiovisual industry. On this occasion, the Advanced Photography Course “The Photographer’s Eye” will be delivered by internationally renowned photojournalist, filmmaker and educator José Luis Valdivia through his production company IKAPIA Filma. This is the second photography course organised by Fuerteventura Film Commission.

Advanced course in digital photo processing and professional studio photography with lighting techniques.
Syllabus
- 1. Advanced camera settings and in-depth knowledge of lenses.
- 2. Training in flash systems, LED lighting and their accessories for studio photography, both indoors and outdoors.
- 3. Guided sessions featuring different studio setups, ranging from simple configurations to more elaborate scenes. Suitable for both photography and filmmaking. Tethering workflows included.
- 4. File storage, digital processing and export workflows.
Equipment and software that will be presented and used during the course:
- 1. Capture One (the instructor’s primary software), Adobe Lightroom, Camera Raw and Affinity Photo. Students will receive an exclusive 40% discount on Capture One.
- 2. Profoto Pro-B3 and its complete ecosystem (industry standard).
- 3. LED lighting systems by Nanlux and Máxima.
- 4. Accessories including Godox mirrors, among others.

Basic knowledge of photography and lighting. Intended for residents of Fuerteventura.
