The aim of this course is to train audiovisual production professionals in Fuerteventura to work within the Locations Department on national and international productions, enabling them to provide high-quality services to film, television and advertising productions filmed on the island of Fuerteventura. This course will provide training in:
- The Locations Department: what is it?
- The relationship between the Locations Department and Production.
- Types of productions: film, photography and events.
- What should you know? Key considerations and essential information.
- Tools of the trade: orientation, scale, concept development and field notebooks.
- Data collection and reporting.
- Permits: public authorities and private property owners, application procedures, follow-up processes, acquisition and responsibilities.
- Location teams and their relationship with other departments during pre-production, filming and wrap. Practical case studies: interior and exterior locations.
Target Audience: Industry professionals wishing to specialise as Location Scouts or Location Managers.
