The film will be screened in its original language with Spanish subtitles. Following the screening of the feature film, which was shot entirely in Fuerteventura, there will be a discussion session with the film\u2019s director, <span class=\"s1\"><b>Gonzalo L\u00f3pez-Gallego<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A second screening will also take place on <span class=\"s1\"><b>27 June<\/b><\/span> at the same time. Tickets for both sessions are free and can be obtained from <span class=\"s1\"><b>Monday, 17 June<\/b><\/span>, via the <span class=\"s1\"><b>ecoentradas.com<\/b><\/span> platform.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Following its successful reception in cinemas across the United States and the United Kingdom, the <span class=\"s1\"><b>Fuerteventura Film Commission<\/b><\/span> is bringing the film to the island for its Spanish premiere. The event forms part of the Film Commission\u2019s programme celebrating its <span class=\"s1\"><b>10th anniversary<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">According to <span class=\"s1\"><b>Nereida Calero<\/b><\/span>, Councillor responsible for the Fuerteventura Film Commission, the feature film was shot in locations including <span class=\"s1\"><b>Corralejo<\/b><\/span>, <span class=\"s1\"><b>Playa de Garcey<\/b><\/span> and <span class=\"s1\"><b>Lajares<\/b><\/span>, further positioning Fuerteventura on the international stage as a premier filming destination.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Starring acclaimed actor <span class=\"s1\"><b>Ian McShane<\/b><\/span> (<span class=\"s1\"><i>Deadwood<\/i><\/span>, <span class=\"s1\"><i>John Wick<\/i><\/span>), the film tells the story of a professional hitman on his final assignment in the picturesque setting of Fuerteventura. The plot follows a seasoned assassin who arrives on the island to eliminate a man he has never met. However, when his target is delayed, he abandons protocol and becomes captivated by the island, its people and a mysterious shipwreck.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">In the words of director <span class=\"s1\"><b>Gonzalo L\u00f3pez-Gallego<\/b><\/span>, \u201cin <span class=\"s1\"><i>American Star<\/i><\/span>, the island takes on a leading role in a story set and developed within unique and
