The Fuerteventura Film Commission<\/b><\/span> officially opened its travelling exhibition \u201cFuerteventura, A Natural Film Set\u201d<\/b><\/span> today as part of the special programme commemorating its 10th anniversary<\/b><\/span>. The exhibition will tour all six municipalities of the island, beginning at the Chillida Hall<\/b><\/span> of the Palace of Training and Conferences<\/b><\/span>, where it can be visited daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n The opening ceremony was attended by Nereida Calero<\/b><\/span>, Councillor responsible for the Fuerteventura Film Commission<\/b><\/span>, who congratulated \u201call those people who continue to drive this industry forward with enthusiasm and dedication. We are proud of everything that has been achieved in Fuerteventura over the last ten years, and our commitment is to continue supporting a sector that is fully compatible with the island and its natural environment.\u201d<\/p>\n The Deputy Minister of Culture of the Canary Islands, Horacio Umpi\u00e9rrez<\/b><\/span>, also thanked the Cabildo of Fuerteventura<\/b><\/span> and the Fuerteventura Film Commission<\/b><\/span> for the initiative. \u201cOver these ten years, we have witnessed remarkable progress in a professional sector that has firmly established itself as an essential industry within the Canary Islands. Today, we can confidently say that cinema in Fuerteventura is a real opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n The exhibition \u201cFuerteventura, A Natural Film Set\u201d<\/b><\/span> offers visitors a journey through some of the most important productions filmed on the island. Through a collection of previously unseen behind-the-scenes still photographs<\/b><\/span>, known in the industry as set photography<\/i><\/span>, visitors can discover a side of filmmaking that is rarely seen by the public. These images were captured during filming by professionals responsible for documenting the production process throughout the shoot.<\/p>\n The exhibition also serves as a tribute to the audiovisual industry and to the dedication and hard work of the professionals who have helped establish Fuerteventura as one of the world\u2019s leading natural film locations.<\/p>\n Following its stay in Puerto del Rosario<\/b><\/span>, the exhibition will travel to the <\/span>Corralejo Auditorium<\/b><\/span> from <\/span>2 to 16 October<\/b><\/span>, the <\/span>Antigua Auditorium<\/b><\/span> from <\/span>18 October to 1 November<\/b><\/span>, the <\/span>Casa del Zapatero<\/b><\/span> in <\/span>Betancuria<\/b><\/span> from <\/span>7 to 21 November<\/b><\/span>, the <\/span>Morro Jable Bus Station<\/b><\/span> from <\/span>26 November to 10 December<\/b><\/span>, and finally the <\/span>Gran Tarajal Municipal Library<\/b><\/span> from <\/span>16 to 30 December<\/b><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n With an average annual temperature of 22\u00b0C<\/b><\/span> and exceptional natural light conditions, Fuerteventura offers unique advantages for film, television and advertising productions.
