This year, primary and secondary school students from ten educational centres in the municipalities of <span class=\"s2\"><b>Antigua<\/b><\/span>, <span class=\"s2\"><b>Puerto del Rosario<\/b><\/span> and <span class=\"s2\"><b>La Oliva<\/b><\/span>, as well as the <span class=\"s2\"><b>Fuerteventura School of Art<\/b><\/span>, have taken part in the programme.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b>Nereida Calero<\/b>, Councillor responsible for the <span class=\"s2\"><b>Fuerteventura Film Commission<\/b><\/span>, thanked both students and teachers for their strong participation and commitment to the project. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the <span class=\"s2\"><b>Fuerteventura Film Commission (FFC)<\/b><\/span> has collaborated with the educational film festival, which aims to introduce young people to the language and techniques of audiovisual storytelling.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Over several weeks, participants received training covering the fundamental stages of audiovisual production, including concept development, screenwriting, pre-production, filming and editing. Following this initial training phase, students produced their own short films with access to equipment and resources provided by the <span class=\"s2\"><b>Fuerteventura Film Commission<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">On <span class=\"s2\"><b>12 June<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">, the <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>Cinedfest Fuerteventura Gala<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> will be held, during which the island\u2019s winners will be announced in categories including <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>First Prize<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">, <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>Second Prize<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">, <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>Third Prize<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">, <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>Best Actress<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">, <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>Best Actor<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">, <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>Best Screenplay<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">, <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>Best Director<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> and <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><b>Best Cinematography<\/b><\/span><span class=\"s1\">, alongside several special awards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">The event will also determine which productions will represent <span class=\"s2\"><b>Fuerteventura<\/b><\/span> at regional level during the two <span class=\"s2\"><b>Cinedfest Canary Islands Galas<\/b><\/span>, scheduled to take place on <span class=\"s2\"><b>18 and 19 June<\/b><\/span> in <span class=\"s2\"><b>Tenerife<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1234 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/fuerteventurafilmcommission.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/497467021_1249646697167630_3585077784980210973_n-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Cinedfest Fuerteventura Gala will take place on 12 June at the Fuerteventura Island Auditorium.
