As part of its ongoing programme to train professionals and individuals interested in entering the audiovisual industry, the Fuerteventura Film Commission will deliver its Sustainable Audiovisual Production Assistant Workshop from 27 to 30 June at the Palace of Training and Conferences. Registration is open until 23 June, and only a limited number of places remain available.

The course will be led by Yanira Cáceres, who holds a degree in Environmental Sciences and a Master’s degree in Protected Natural Areas. Primarily aimed at professionals and aspiring professionals working in production roles, Yanira has extensive experience as an environmental consultant and technical evaluation specialist on audiovisual projects such as Foundation and Exodus.

This workshop, which is being offered in Fuerteventura for the first time, is designed to provide specialised, practical training focused on developing audiovisual projects from a sustainability perspective. Participants will enhance their professional skills while learning how to implement sustainability measures tailored to the specific requirements of each production.

According to Nereida Calero, Councillor responsible for the Fuerteventura Film Commission, everyone interested in the audiovisual industry is encouraged to take part in this workshop as well as the other courses scheduled throughout June, July and September.
