‘Fuerteventura, A Natural Film Set’ Exhibition Arrives in Morro Jable as Part of Its Island Tour

The travelling exhibition can be visited at the Morro Jable Bus Station until 10 December.

Following successful stops in Puerto del Rosario, Corralejo, Antigua and Betancuria, the travelling exhibition “Fuerteventura, A Natural Film Set” has arrived in Morro Jable.

The exhibition was officially inaugurated in the presence of Nereida Calero, Councillor responsible for the Fuerteventura Film Commission, Alejandro Jorge, Mayor of Pájara, and María de Los Ángeles Acosta, Councillor for Education.

The exhibition can be visited free of charge until 10 December at the Morro Jable Bus Station, open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Organised as part of the celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of the Fuerteventura Film Commission, the exhibition will subsequently move to the Gran Tarajal Library, where it will make the final stop of its island-wide tour from 16 to 30 December.

Originally inaugurated on 16 September at the Chillida Hall of the Fuerteventura Training and Conference Centre, “Fuerteventura, A Natural Film Set” invites visitors on a journey through some of the most significant productions filmed on the island and offers a glimpse into the lesser-seen side of filmmaking through a collection of exclusive behind-the-scenes photographs captured during productions.

The exhibition also serves as a tribute to the audiovisual sector, whose dedication and perseverance have helped establish Fuerteventura as one of the world’s leading natural film locations.

In recent years, the island has hosted major international productions including Wonder Woman 1984, Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, Allied and Marvel’s Eternals. National productions filmed in Fuerteventura include 30 Coins, The Lighthouse of the Orcas, 4L, Solo, Milk Men, Rendir los Machos and The Traveller.
