The exhibition opens this Monday at the Palace of Training and Conferences and will subsequently tour all municipalities across the island.
The Fuerteventura Film Commission will inaugurate its travelling exhibition “Fuerteventura, A Natural Film Set” on Monday, 16 September. The photographic exhibition forms part of the programme organised to celebrate the organisation’s 10th anniversary.
The exhibition, which will tour all six municipalities of Fuerteventura, will begin its journey at the Chillida Hall of the Palace of Training and Conferences, where an opening event will take place on 16 September at 7:00 p.m. The exhibition will remain at the venue until 30 September and can be visited daily between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Following its stay in Puerto del Rosario, the exhibition will move to the Corralejo Auditorium from 2 to 16 October, the Antigua Auditorium from 18 October to 1 November, the Casa del Zapatero in Betancuria from 7 to 21 November, the Morro Jable Bus Station from 26 November to 10 December, and finally the Gran Tarajal Municipal Library from 16 to 30 December.
According to Nereida Calero, Councillor responsible for the Fuerteventura Film Commission, “we are celebrating this tenth anniversary with a programme that highlights the role of the Film Commission and all those who have been part of this journey.”
The exhibition “Fuerteventura, A Natural Film Set” offers visitors a journey through some of the most important productions filmed on the island. Through photographs taken during filming by professionals responsible for documenting the production process, the exhibition reveals a lesser-known side of the film industry and provides a unique behind-the-scenes look at the work that takes place on set.
